Chips Lead to Change

What started with a few bags of chips is now a complete ministry. If you’ve ever doubted that one person could make a difference, think again. Glenda Hoffman is a living example of what happens when you allow your heart to inspire your life.

It all started on her way to work. Glenda, who works downtown, was forced to walk past many homeless persons on her daily commute. Her reaction wasn’t positive. She, like many of us, judged. She felt the homeless should try harder to get a job and become productive citizens. When a series of sermons at her church worked on her heart, she began to view those without a home in a new light. Her repugnance melted into compassion. It was then that Hoffman made a decision to do something.
