Providing Furniture and Household Goods

Donations of furniture and essential household items are delivered by CAC to a warehouse at 38th and Post Road, which is provided at no charge by Tharp Investments. The items are then managed and delivered by the PourHouse Welcome Home Team and two local churches to clients who are transitioning from the street or shelters into permanent housing. This service helps to create long-term residence stability. Most requests include basic items such as linens, kitchen items, beds (mattress/box spring), dressers, kitchen table and chairs, sofa, sitting chairs, end tables, TVs, microwaves, lamps, etc. Over the past three years, 457 households have been provided furniture and household goods.
